Joining the BLR Founders Circle: 
The Founders Circle consists of donors who have made a five year commitment with an initial gift of $500 or more and at least $500 annually for the next four years, or donors who have made a five year Transformative gift commitment with an initial gift of $1,000 or more and at least $1,000 annually for the next four years. 2018 Accomplishments

  • 33 Years of Pine Hills Girls' Camp, our largest ever—200 junior high campers and almost 100 staff!

  • We conducted 28 BeLoved events for high schoolers from FGR, Skyline, Huron, Pioneer, Plymouth-Canton, Catherine of Siena, Divine Child, Mercy, Marian, Washtenaw Technical Middle College, Home School Co-op.

  • Our BeLoved events took place at Christ the King Parish, Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, and 24/2 Community Church.

  • More than 100 girls attended every week in the summer, and an average of 70 during the school year.

  • Emily Messiter and Mary Benz were our summer interns.

  • Natalia Collins joined our paid staff in July as our Missions Director.

  • Molly Marrow joined our staff in November as our Worship Leader.

  • More than 25 young adult women volunteer at BLR events.

  • More than 30 young women blog for BLR and almost 400 people subscribe to our blog.

  • This summer we hosted Daughters of the King, an event for almost 200 eight to ten-year-old girls.

  • Our first BLR Chapter Fullerton, MD began meeting in September!

  • We led 8 high school/parish retreats and events at Fr. Gabriel Richard, St Catherine Academy, Shrine, Holy Family and St. Robert Bellarmine Parishes.

  • We conducted retreats for junior high girls from Spiritus Sanctus Academies, Huron Valley Catholic, St. Andrews, St Francis, and Our Lady of Good Counsel schools.

  • We partnered with Arbor Woman and Emmaus Health to put on Revolutionary Health, an event for moms and educators, with future events in the works!

  • BLR was featured on The Choices We Face television show, Fire on the Earth radio show, FAITH Magazine, and Abiding Together podcast. 

  • We added new Founders' Circle members, bringing our FC to 44 members.

  • We lead a monthly women’s discipleship group for 25 BLR junior and senior girls.

  • We lead a monthly women’s discipleship group for 25 8/9th grade girls.

  • We lead a weekly 6:30 am bible study at a local coffee shop for more than 20 girls.

  • We provide one-on-one mentoring/discipleship for high school girls.

  • We led a week-long spring break mission trip to Mexico City for 28 high schoolers from Fr. Gabriel Richard High School.

  • We helped lead a week-long January mission trip to Mexico City for young adults.

  • We launched new BLR merchandise including t-shirts, key lanyards, mugs, decals, baseball hats, and posters.
