Dear Be Love Revolutionaries,
We are writing to invite you to join us for the Be Love for Lent Challenge. The goal of this Lenten challenge is to grow in love--love for God and for others. We are proposing three practical challenges to help us live out our call to Be His, Be Free and Be Love. If we can do this for six weeks during Lent, we are on our way to making these habits in our daily life!
Be His Goal: To draw closer to Jesus.
Practical Challenge: Spend time with Jesus every day. Make time and take time! This won’t happen unless you put it in your schedule.
Be Free Goal: To free yourself of something that keeps you from loving more.
Practical Challenge: Fast from social media for Lent. If you’re not on social media, take a break from something else. How about Netflix, excessive tv watching, phone use, mirror time?
Be Love Goal: To be intentional about choosing to love and grow in the qualities of love.
Practical Challenge: 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Challenge. Read this passage each day and choose one quality of love each day. Write it on a piece of paper and refer to it throughout the day. Ask God for opportunities to express patience, kindness, etc. At the end of each day, reflect on how you did.
During Lent, the BLR will not be using social media. Instead, we will be sending out a weekly email to encourage and remind you about these practical challenges. We will be using the photo at the top of this post as our profile picture on our social media sites. Right click to save the photo and make it your profile picture as well!

P.S. Just a reminder that Lent begins Wednesday, February 10th. Our next BeLoved is Wednesday, February 24th!
